Our annual scholarship has awarded packages worth more than $15,000 to deserving community members!
SwingDiversity University
The University seeks to overcome barriers to entry into places of influence by providing free training and opportunities to community members from historically marginalized groups to become judges, DJs, and instructors.
Outreach
Outreach seeks to welcome dancers of all types into the community and develop ways to make them feel valued and included. We are working to gather input, provide a place where multiple stakeholders can access resources and information, and develop materials such as best practices, workshops, and codes of conduct in consultation with the community.
Juniors
Bringing juniors into our dance community and ensuring they are safe and included in a way that makes their families comfortable requires input and buy-in from many stakeholders. We are working to develop resources and best practices for event directors, local community leaders, families, dance professionals, and juniors.
